  • Here at Artist Print Studio we can work with all common file formats. Here are our recommended image specifications for ordering online to ensure the highest quality prints.

    File Type: High Quality, flattened TIFF (best option) PSD, PDF, JPEG.
    Saved at 8 bits / channel.
    Colour: RGB with Adobe RGB (1998) or sRGB.
    Resolution: At least 300dpi resolution at the print size required.
    Borders:     Add your border to your file before uploading and include the border within your final print size when ordering. If you need help adding borders please get in touch.
    Bleed & Trim:     If you can add your bleed and trim marks great, but we can easily add these for you if not.
    File Name: Please name your file in this format:
    “YourName_ShortPrintTitle_PrintSize.”

  • If your file is very large please get in touch and send any files across via We-Transfer.

  • Can I send my artwork across in another format?
    We reccomend a flattened TIFF file, but also except PSD, PDF & JPEG files too. If you need help you can contact us.
  • Can I order my artwork in more than one size or on a different paper type?
    Once you have added your first print size and paper choice, you can then order more prints of the same artwork in another size and paper. You will have to upload the artwork again in the correct size.

  • Can I order a custom size?
    Yes select custom in the print size secetion and enter the dimensions of your print in cm. For anything smaller than 21x30cm or very large you can contact us for a quote.

  • How can I speed up the process of uploading my files?
    TIFF files can be large in size. You can upload each file as a Zip folder. This will not affect the image quality, just reduce the file size, making uploads faster. To create a Zip file, right-click on your file and select ‘Send to’ > ‘Compressed (zipped) folder’ (on Windows), or Control-click the file and choose ‘Compress’ (on a Mac).

  • Can I edit my order once it’s in the cart?
    Yes click the ‘edit options’ button next to your order to go back in and make any adjustments.

Paper Type

STEP 1: Choose your prefered paper and click NEXT.

Print Size

STEP 2: Choose your print size. You can select from standard A-sizes to popular photo sizes in inches. Please note this is the final print size, any borders you wish around the image should fit within the size selected. If you would like a size not listed or additional borders please get in touch for a quote.

Upload Artwork

STEP 3: Upload your artwork, select the quantity for each print and click NEXT. For large files you can upload each as a Zip File to speed up the upload time (read our FAQs for more information). You can also email us to order if preferred.
