WHAT DOES GICLEE MEAN?

Giclée is a French term meaning “to spray” and are produced by firing extremely small droplets of ink onto specially coated paper to build a colour or black and white print with a longevity of 200 years under the correct conditions.

We’ll contact you when your prints are ready for collection or have been shipped.

Typically 1-3 days, depending on your order details and chosen shipping or collection method.

HIGH RESOLUTION SCANNING

For those looking to transform their original artworks or preserve archived collections into digital print ready files. Our flatbed scanner produces accurate, pin-sharp reproductions from a wide range of media up to A1.

HOW IT WORKS

BOOKING & PAYMENT

Get in touch with your requirements.
You will be sent an invoice via email.
After payment, we’ll arrange a time for you to drop off your originals into the studio.

TURNAROUND TIME

Typically 1-3 days, depending on your requirements.
We will be in touch to arrange a collection time and send your files via WeTransfer.
Contact us for a quicker turnaround, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

PRICING

You can view our artwork scanning page for further details and scan prices.
Enjoy 20% discount for three or more scans of the same size.
Pricing includes, pin-sharp, tidied & colour corrected high res files in TIFF & JPEG format.
An A5 test print proof of one of your scans is included in the price.
Any additional proofs will costed at our print prices.

BESPOKE PRINTING SERVICE

Unlike our standard giclee printing service, the bespoke printing service allows you to visit our studio and oversee the entire print process. You’ll receive guidance on file preparation, including size adjustments, colour and resolution checks, adding borders and bleeds, and saving in the correct format. Plus, you will have the oppotuinity to sign & take home your prints the same day – perfect for quick turnarounds.

THE PROCESS

Send Files: We reccommend you send your files prior to your appointment.
File Review: Arrive at your appointed time. Together we’ll check your files for optimal print quality.
File Set Up: Learn to set up and save your files ready for print in a range of sizes with borders & bleeds.
Test Prints: Get 50% off your first two test prints (up to A4 size) to review our papers.
Watch the Printing Process: Be involved in the printing, ensuring your vision is met.
Sign Your Work: Once printed, you can sign your works in the studio.

TIME

This service can take between 2-8 hours, depending on your needs.
We recommend bringing a lunch & portfolio for transporting prints safely home.
A spare desk space is available if you’d like to work while you wait.

PRICING

Bespoke Service Fee: £100 per hour
Scanning Costs: Additional fees apply for prints. Please see our print prices to get an idea of costs.
Payment: Customers will be invoiced and charged via card on the day of the appointment.
