BESPOKE SCANNING

Unlike our standard scanning service, the bespoke service offers a personalized one-on-one experience. You’ll gain tailored guidence and the oppotunity to oversee the entire scanning process to ensure your expectations are met. Walk away with your scanned files and original artworks the same day.

HOW IT WORKS

Get in touch to book a one-on-one session in our studio. We recommend a short consultation via email/ phone beforehand to discuss your needs.

  • Bring Your Artworks: Arrive at the studio with your original pieces.
  • Watch the Process: Experience the scanning process firsthand and view on our calibrated monitor.
  • Receive Insights: Learn how we colour correct & prepare files for print, including adding borders & bleeds.
  • Test Print: Receive one A4 proof print on your choice of paper to compare with the original.
  • Receiving Files: Scans & files are sent to you via We-transfer in your desired formats.
  • This service can take between 2-8 hours, depending on your needs.
  • We recommend bringing a lunch & refreshments.
  • A spare desk space is available if you’d like to work while you wait.
  • Bespoke Service Fee: £100 per hour
  • Scanning Costs: Additional fees apply for scanning. Please see our scan prices to get an idea of costs.
  • Payment: Customers will be invoiced and charged via card on the day of the appointment.

BESPOKE GICLEE PRINTING

Unlike our standard giclee printing service, the bespoke printing service allows you to visit our studio and oversee the entire print process. You’ll receive guidance on file preparation, including size adjustments, colour and resolution checks, adding borders and bleeds, and saving in the correct format. Plus, you will have the oppotuinity to sign & take home your prints the same day – perfect for quick turnarounds.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Get in touch to book a one-on-one session in our studio.
  • We recommend a short consultation via email/ phone beforehand to discuss your needs.
  • Send Files:  We reccommend you send your files prior to your appointment.
  • File Review: Arrive at your appointed time. Together we’ll check  your files for optimal print quality.
  • File Set Up: Learn to set up and save your files ready for print in a range of sizes with borders & bleeds.
  • Test Prints: Get 50% off your first two test prints (up to A4 size) to review our papers.
  • Watch the Printing Process: Be involved in the printing, ensuring your vision is met.
  • Sign Your Work: Once printed, you can sign your works in the studio.
  • This service can take between 2-8 hours, depending on your needs.
  • We recommend bringing a lunch & portfolio for transporting prints safely home.
  • A spare desk space is available if you’d like to work while you wait.

FAQs

Our bespoke service provides a one to one experience where you can oversee the scanning and printing processes, receive guidance at every stage, and take your original artwork home the same day. In contrast, our standard service still offers a quick turnaround but without the direct involvement and additional fees, making it ideal for those who prefer convenience.

Yes! One of the advantages of our bespoke service is that you can take your original artwork home with you after the session.

You can book an appointment by contacting us via email or phone. We recommend scheduling in advance to ensure availability.

Yes! Typically, if you choose our bespoke options for both services, this is done over two separate days. On the first day, you’ll take home your scans, printed proof, and original artworks. The second day is dedicated to printing your files on your selected paper. Depending on your needs, we may also be able to complete both services in one day.

 

Please bring your original artworks if scanning and a signing pencil/ pen and portfolio for easy transport if your printing with us. We also suggest bringing a lunch & drink.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your new schedule.

Payment is made via credit or debit card on the day of your appointment.

You can bring a variety of original artworks, including paintings in any medium, books, canvases, drawings, textiles, and photographs. Please ensure that they are in good condition and properly sealed for scanning. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact us.

Once you have your print-ready files from our bespoke scanning or bespoke printing service, you can order any additional prints from those files. You can place your order online, via email, or by scheduling another bespoke printing appointment.

We offer a variety of high-quality papers and finishes to suit your preferences. You can view samples during your appointment.

While there’s no strict limit, we recommend discussing the number of pieces during your booking to ensure sufficient time for scanning.

HIGH RESOLUTION SCANNING

Our standard scanning service is ideal for those who prefer to drop off their original artworks and leave the rest to our expert team. Your pieces will be stored safely in our studio for 1-3 days while we handle the scanning process, allowing you to enjoy a hassle-free experience and pay only for the scans.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Get in touch with your requirements.
  • You will be sent an invoice via email.
  • After payment, we’ll arrange a time for you to drop off your originals into the studio.
  • Typically 1-3 days, depending on your requirements.
  • We will be in touch to arrange a collection time and send your files via WeTransfer.
  • Contact us for a quicker turnaround, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
  • You can view our artwork scanning page for further details and scan prices.
  • Enjoy 20% discount for three or more scans of the same size.
  • Pricing includes, pin-sharp, tidied & colour corrected high res files in TIFF & JPEG format.
  • An A5 test print proof of one of your scans is included in the price.
  • Any additional proofs will costed at our print prices.
